New Jersey Quilt Block

Celebrate “Be Nice to New Jersey Week” with this quilt block created in the official state colors of New Jersey.

To save time this block has been sewn together using a strip sewing technique instead of cutting individual strips for each patch in the block.

May Basket Quilt Block

This was a special request from a quilter who wanted help sewing this together.

She had received a few completed blocks and all of the fabric to make a quilt top, but was at a loss to begin sewing.

This is a beautiful block and will make a stunning quilt.

Does Double Duty Quilt Block

This is truly a beginner quilt block since it uses only square patches and is very easy to sew together.

This is the type of block that will create a secondary design in your quilt simply by placing the blocks next to each other.

Rocket Ship Quilt Block

This is a fun quilt block, and relatively easy to sew, using just triangles and squares.

In the original design, the rocket had larger “fins.” I changed the color of some of the triangles to make it look more like a modern rocket.
